VIVX works to collectively create narratives that support and empower defenders who care for life and land. Their stories, told in collaboration with filmmakers from SolidariLabs, challenge the dominant narratives that obscure and stigmatize their work.

VIVX SHORT FILMX
Under the coordination of Heny Cuesta and post-production by Gustavo Hincapié, who participated in the first SolidariLabs in Colombia in 2016, eight profiles of VIVX network defenders have been created. This creative process was made possible thanks to the enthusiastic collaboration of six filmmakers from the SolidariLabs network in Colombia, Mexico, and Guatemala.
A PRODUCTION MODEL THAT CREATES FROM TRUST
To transform these narratives, it's crucial to engage defenders in the audiovisual creation process, trusting the filmmakers to contribute their ideas and opinions, and express their struggles in defense of life and the planet in the best possible way. They must participate in the construction of their own narratives to dignify their stories and processes.
